On The Run Mama |
My honest and heartfelt telling of my journey of running, weight loss and life. I pray that my story will reflect God's love and inspire someone on their own journey. My name is Jessica. I'm 29 years old, a child of God, a wife, a mother, a runner, a friend and I work full time. Height - 5' 7" Starting Weight - 218 Current Weight - 175 Original Goal Weight - 175 Goal Weight - 165 (At least, if I keep loosing after that point I'm ok too. I want to be healthy and not too thin.) ** Scratch that. I'm pregnant right now and due in May. Now I'm learning how to be as healthy as possible while pregnant. |
There are too many temptations lingering at my house from Little r’s party this weekend. A yummy cookie jumped into my mouth this morning (a smore cookie… oh my goodness they are delicious!)
I need accountability until these foods are gone. I “helped” my friends by giving them most of the goodies as they left the party. Then I took a bunch of cupcakes to work to plump up be nice my coworkers. There is still more at home though!!! (Darn you people who RSVP’d and didn’t show! I’m left with all of your food!) I hate throwing away food, but I don’t want to eat it either.
The temptation food needs to magically disappear. Until then…
Breakfast ~ Toast with smart balance, greek yogurt & a cookie ~ 428 calories, 1081 left for the day
The cookie did not make for a good start to the day, but that doesn’t give me permission or make it right to blow the rest of the day. Even if I’m over by the 175 calories from the cookie, that is better than gorging myself the rest of today since “I already messed up.”
